Based on the book by Charles Nutter, crafted after the 1815 version by E.T.A Hoffman's Der Sandmann, this light hearted choreography tells the story in which a young man is taught a lesson about his misdirected love. Alan Futterman will conduct the Peninsula Ballet Orchestra to the score by Leo Delibes.
