Pure Prairie League was the front runner in the country-rock music category in the 1960’s. Along with groups like the Eagles they reached mainstream radio listeners by the mid-1970s, as singles like “Amie” climbed the Billboard charts. With a confluence of various artists filling their ranks throughout the years and notable associated artists such as Vince Gill & Little Feat, it’s no small wonder that Pure Prairie League has continued to please for the past 40 years and counting.
