Taj Mahal is one of the most prominent and influential figures in late 20th century blues and roots music. Though his career began more than five decades ago with American blues, he has broadened his artistic scope over the years to include music representing virtually every corner of the world – west Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe, the Hawaiian Islands and so much more. What ties it all together is his insatiable interest in musical discovery. Over the years, his passion and curiosity have led him around the world, and the resulting global perspective is reflected in his music.
In 2014, Taj was honored with the Lifetime Achievement for Performance Award at the 13th Annual Americana Honors and Awards. The award recognized the two-time Grammy winning singer, songwriter, film composer, guitarist and multi- instrumentalist for “decades of recording and touring that have nearly single-handedly reshaped the definition and scope of the blues via the infusion of exotic sounds from throughout the world.”

We slow smoke and cook tender racks of dry rubbed St. Louis style pork ribs slathered in our sweet and tangy BBQ sauce. Served with our jicama coleslaw, fried okra, and oven baked beans with bacon and molasses.

Cajon style breaded catfish fillets with creole dipping sauce and a side of fried okra and cajun fries. Served with our jicama coleslaw, lemon wedges, and malt vinegar.
Fettuccini Carbonara with Andouille Sausage $22
Smokey cajun style andouille sausage, caramelized with onions, roasted bell peppers, and crispy bacon tossed in a savory garlic cream sauce with fettuccini noodles and aged romano cheese.
Blackened Salmon Caesar Salad $19
Fresh pacific salmon fillet seasoned with cajun spices and seared to seal in the flavor. Served atop a bed of crisp romaine lettuce tossed with our special caesar dressing, homestyle croutons and parmesan cheese along with grilled garlic french bread.
