The Admiral Theatre opened in 1942 as one of the West Coast's premier art deco movie houses, and was renovated in 1997 into the West Sound's premier performing arts and events venue.
The Admiral Theatre welcomes more than 50,000 patrons annually to 110 diverse performances and community events.

Admiral Theatre Executive Chef Ted Ness (above) has revolutionized our cabaret-style fine and casual dining service since coming to the Admiral in August 2013.
Chef Ness apprenticed under Master French Chef Gerard Parrat at Gerard's Relais de Lyon in Bothell, WA.
With 18 years expertise in traditional French cuisine, catering and fine dining, Chef Ness and our professional kitchen staff prepare culinary delights that will please even the most discerning palate.
Our fine dining menu includes succulent Prime Rib, homemade Au Gratin Potatoes, farm fresh seasonal vegetables, and many other main courses, side dishes, salads, desserts, and beverages including a selection of fine wines and specialty cocktails.
The Admiral Theatre also offers a casual dining menu featuring traditional American fare with a gourmet flair, including hand-dipped Tempura Cod and Chips, Certified Angus Beef ® burgers, onion rings and sweet potato fries, crispy yet tender chicken strips, and a variety of homemade dipping sauces such as Sweet Chili Ketchup, Tiger BBQ Sauce, and Remoulade.
Vegetarian options are: Tortellini con pesto (Tri-colored tortellini with sautéed onions, mushrooms, bell peppers and zucchini in a pesto cream sauce with parmesan cheese and garlic bread sticks), and Quinoa and kale patties served with Miso marinated vegetables (gluten free and dairy free).

SCHOOL DAY SERIES
Our Stages for All Ages School Day Series provides 10,000 local school kids with free and subsidized tickets to attend five educational interactive shows throughout the school year. The 2014-15 season includes live performances of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar & Other Eric Carle Favorites," Jim Henson's "Dinosaur Train Live: Buddy's Big Adventure," "Living Voices Presents Northwest Passages," and more!
Our K-12 Ticket to Culture provides local school choir, drama, music and stage tech programs and students with free and subsidized tickets for select live music and theatrical performances throughout the school year. The 2014-15 season includes live performances from The Hot Sardines, The Gene Krupa Orchestra, Ahn Trio, Sweet Honey In The Rock, Seven Brides For Seven Brothers, and Natalie MacMaster & Donnell Leahy.
ACTING, DANCING, SINGING
Every summer we offer an exciting two-week theatre summer camp including musical theatre workshops in acting, dance, and voice, taught by experienced artists with professional and academic backgrounds as performers, choreographers, directors and musicians. The Admiral Theatre Foundation offers summer camp scholarships covering all costs based on financial need and merit.
