Join us for Gaetano Donizetti's 'The Daughter of the Regiment’ (La Fille du Regiment), an opera comique in two acts. A Vibrant “bel canto” opera featuring our spirited heroine Marie, a foundling raised by soldiers, who falls for the handsome peasant Tonio. Due to its Napoleonic theme, it became the national opera of France. Sung in French with English supertitles, with larger-than-life characters, you will fall in love with the full beauty of Donizetti’s music. By the end, you will be shouting “Vive la Difference!”
