Saturday, September 27, 2025

**Proceeds will benefit waterfowl and wetlands conservation efforts.
Ducks Unlimited got its start in 1937 during the Dust Bowl when North America's drought-plagued waterfowl populations had plunged to unprecedented lows. Determined not to sit idly by as the continent's waterfowl dwindled beyond recovery, a small group of sportsmen joined together to form an organization that became known as Ducks Unlimited. Its mission: habitat conservation.
Ducks Unlimited is now the world's largest and most effective private waterfowl and wetlands conservation organization. Ducks Unlimited conserves, restores, and manages wetlands and associated habitats for North America's waterfowl. These habitats also benefit other wildlife and people. The vision of Ducks Unlimited is wetlands sufficient to fill the skies with waterfowl today, tomorrow and forever.
Join Ducks Unlimited Kitsap Chapter and Bremerton’s Admiral Theatre as we celebrate the outdoors, state and national conservation efforts, and raise funds to continue conservation efforts. The evening includes an incredible buffet dinner, silent and live auctions, a dessert dash, a raise the paddle, speakers, a special video presentation, and more.
For more information, contact Ducks Unlimited: Kitsap Chapter Chairman Michael Luecht at papaluke@wavecable.com and 360-710-9442.

***Conservation Update: For the first time in its 88-year history, Ducks Unlimited has delivered 1 million acres of conservation across North America in one year thanks to more than a million supporters and partners including private landowners, hunters, corporations, major donors, state and federal agencies. This achievement happened in fiscal year 2024 and reflects a national surge in public and private interest to restore and protect wetland habitats. See video below.
