NAACP Bremerton Unit 1134 and the Admiral Theatre Foundation proudly present the 2025 NAACP Freedom Fund Banquet / "The Urgency of Now." This is a community event in which we celebrate community leaders, provide a platform for NAACP advocacy areas of focus, community empowerment, ACT-SO, civil rights, political education, community networking, and community unity. This is the only fundraising event for your local NAACP Bremerton.
This year's festivities include live entertainment and speakers to be announced soon. This special event includes community awards, dinner, silent auction, dessert dash, 50/50 raffle, raise the paddle and more. Menu options coming the week of June 2.

Starring Forest Whitaker, Oprah Winfrey, John Cusack, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Terrence Howard. A black butler working at the White House serves eight U.S. presidents over the course of three decades, and finds his personal life deeply affected by the sweeping social changes he witnesses from his prestigious job.

Starring David Oyelowo, Carmen Ejogo, Tom Wilkinson, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Alessandro Nivola. The marches from Selma, Ala., to Montgomery to secure voting rights for black Americans are depicted in this docudrama set during the U.S. Civil Rights Movement, and which focuses on the actions of Martin Luther King Jr.
