Bremerton's Admiral Theatre and NAACP Bremerton Branch - Unit 1134 are proud to present Ava DuVernay's Academy Award-winning 2014 film Selma for Black History Month. Starring David Oyelowo, Carmen Ejogo, Tom Wilkinson, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Alessandro Nivola. The marches from Selma, Ala., to Montgomery to secure voting rights for black Americans are depicted in this docudrama set during the U.S. Civil Rights Movement, and which focuses on the actions of Martin Luther King Jr.
